Wilderness

We wanted to provide some great links for the worlds wilderness areas. There is a great resource that provides a google map with all the the worlds designated wilderness areas. Protectedplanet.net has a google map with national parks, forests, state parks, forests, wildlife management areas, reserves, and preserves throughout the entire world. These are of course not the only places to explore, but these are all the protected areas. Some of the protected areas (especially in foreign countries) have some of the best paddling, backpacking, fishing, hunting, etc… and some of the most remote backcountry you can imagine. So its interesting to look at this map and see whats out there in terms of wilderness areas world wide.
